Hello to our 5th year together of stories shared š
Day 1: Welcome Home
These emails fill my heart and soul; I feel beyond blessed for the opportunity to shed a little light on the good work weāre doing in this corner of our world. Iām so incredibly PROUD of our team ā and I use that in the broadest sense to include our internal team, our candidates we work with, our customers, and our community.
I didnāt like Websterās definition of Home ā so I found a different one; āWhere a person feels safe and acceptedā¦requiring an emotional connection and sense of belongingā
Welcome Homeā¦.
- We have worked with Andrew for 2 years. He had some attendance issues where we first placed him and so, we pivoted in a different direction. With a little coaching from us and personal accountability decisions from him ā he landed in a forever home where he provedĀ his attendance and his skills. He just went through interviews for a perm spot where we know weāll see him for years to come. Weāll always be in your corner cheering, Andrew!
- John came to us while working in a role for $16/hr ā he was miserable, absolutely hated his job and unclear of where to go nextā¦.he accepted an offer with a really cool client of ours for $20/hr and he still calls us to tell us āThis is the best company Iāve ever worked forā ā Weāre SO proud that he found a home where heās treated so well, we all deserve to feel as good as John does in his forever home.
- We stopped working with a customer a few years back bc of the high turnover of people we were working with in the facility ā it became clear we werenāt able to do our best work without a collaborative partner. This year, they called us because someone from our Vision Family started working there and wanted things done rightā¦feels good to be reunited again.
- Lane found us while looking for a shorter commute. His challenge in the job market was that he had hopped around quite a bit. After a few interviews, he landed in his forever homeā¦.he walks to work, it takes 7 minutes, he has more time with his family and every time we talk to him he canāt stop raving about how much he loves his boss. ā¤
Weāre just getting started, 11 more days of stories to touch your heart and demonstrate the emotional connection and sense of belonging for so many. Finding someone a home isnāt always easy, but someoneās going to do it ā and we choose to āOne Person at a Timeā
Best,
Heather
