12 Days of Christmas Stories: Day 5

Day 5: Thank You.

Tuesday will be our 11th annual Customer & Employee Appreciation event – when we open our decorated doors to invite everyone we have worked with in the past and present – customers, candidates, community members and more are welcome to join us and give us the opportunity to say THANK YOU for a great year and spread some holiday cheer. As always, we’ll need your votes cast for the best decorations which also will get you entered in a drawing for all of the Christmas Gifts we’re giving away 😊 a few stories tied to this event….

  • When we first met Billy it was at CEA 2019 – and the look on his face is something we can still see – he was a bit, let’s say, shocked at how festive the entire office was! Ha! He clammed up and was uncomfortable immediately – we almost didn’t work with him because he seemed rigid, unapproachable, etc. Flash forward 3 years and he’s not so rigid, not so unapproachable, he’s just a human and a pretty cool human at that. 😊
  • Lisa started days before CEA last year! She had interviewed at multiple places and it wasn’t clicking. She was transitioning out of food/catering and unsure of where she was headed. Ultimately she was clear she wanted the right fit. She landed in a new  role, with a great team. They loved her attitude and work ethic. She was a strong communicator from the start and really engaging with everyone which made her shine!
  • We met with Brittani a couple years ago – she worked some short term stuff but really wanted a long term home. At CEA last year she brought in a knitted reusable grocery bag because she was so happy! While looking for the right fit she interviewed at aa company and wasn’t selected for the role. That same company had another opening many months later and on the surface it looked like she’d be a no, because she was before. However, when you work closely with the client to understand the culture and need and closely with the candidate to hear what they truly want/need – it just was a no brainer to bring her up again – and low and behold, it was perfect. She was hired perm, she’s still there, and the rest is history. We’ll never forget Brittani 😊

If you’re reading this, please join us for our annual event – we look forward to having you in our ‘home’ each year and celebrating with us. Santa will be in attendance and there won’t be a line, so bring the kiddos and have some fun ❤

See you tomorrow,

Heather
