Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lawn Care Crew Member to support seasonal lawn and property maintenance operations. This is a hands-on outdoor position responsible for mowing, trimming, general lawn maintenance, and occasional sod installation.
No previous lawn care experience is required, and training will be provided. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable with physically active work, and takes pride in completing each property carefully and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine lawn mowing and general grass maintenance.
- Operate weed trimmers and other lawn care equipment.
- Assist with sod installation as needed.
- Complete assigned lawn and property maintenance tasks.
- Follow daily work assignments and established service standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment used for lawn care operations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures while operating lawn care equipment.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete daily routes efficiently.
- Assist with additional property maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors.
- Willingness to learn how to safely operate lawn care equipment.
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movement.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Regular operation of lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Physically demanding work requiring activity throughout the workday.
- Exposure to grass, dirt, dust, outdoor allergens, noise, and changing weather conditions.
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
