Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper to join an established manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing, packaging, and processing domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently while supporting production and customer delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate has previous shipping experience in a manufacturing environment, is comfortable using computers and shipping systems, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and ensuring products reach customers on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.
Process domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and complete required shipping documentation.
Verify quantities, accuracy, and condition of outgoing materials before shipment.
Use computer and shipping systems to process orders, enter information, and print shipping labels.
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain and track shipping information.
Coordinate with internal departments to support accurate and on-time deliveries.
Identify and communicate shipping discrepancies or concerns.
Support inventory and material handling activities as needed.
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
Perform additional shipping and warehouse responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous shipping experience in a manufacturing environment required.
International shipping experience preferred.
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work accurately with numbers and written instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Dependable with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
