Amanda has spent the past four years working closely with special education students in the education field. After relocating to Minnesota from Illinois a couple years ago, she now feels settled and eager to bring her Business Administration degree to good use as part of our team.
Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks, and exploring everything Minnesota has to offer. Though both she and her husband grew up with pets, they had agreed not to have any. However, when her middle daughter faced a challenging first year of middle school, Amanda insisted on getting an emotional support pet. Having worked with a bunny breeder at her previous job, they welcomed their first family pet in 2023 — a bunny named Teddy. Now, Amanda is a self-proclaimed advocate for bunny ownership, and Teddy has become an essential part of their family’s life.
What are your hobbies? I love to take walks – I could walk all day. I also read every night before bed – my favorite genre is Thriller. Always love a craft or coloring. Movies are also a favorite.
Favorite Movie/TV Shows? I have way too many favorites to ever answer this question but Fargo, The Office, Dexter, Schitts Creek are the first that come to my mind.
Mottos you live by? The 3 C’s of life: Choices, Chances, Changes. You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.
