Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Equipment Operator to support daily operations in Rogers, MN. This position is responsible for safely operating Bobcat equipment, moving and organizing materials, and assisting with general warehouse or yard operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working around equipment and machinery in a fast-paced environment. Previous forklift experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Bobcat equipment to support daily operations.
- Move, load, unload, and organize materials as needed.
- Transport materials to designated storage, staging, or work areas.
- Assist with general material handling activities.
- Support warehouse and yard operations as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials.
- Inspect equipment before use and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding employees, equipment, and materials while operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate Bobcat equipment.
- Previous equipment operation or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Safety-conscious with strong awareness when working around equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, and perform material handling tasks.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required by the position.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse and/or outdoor work environment depending on assigned tasks.
- Frequent operation of Bobcat and other material handling equipment.
- Regular exposure to moving equipment, machinery, noise, and varying weather or temperature conditions.
- Hands-on position requiring frequent standing, walking, and material handling.
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Overtime opportunities may be available, including weekends.
- Must consistently follow established equipment and workplace safety procedures.
