Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to support warehouse and distribution operations in Otsego, MN. This position is responsible for safely operating stand-up reach truck equipment to move, store, load, unload, and stage products while maintaining accurate inventory records.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of recent stand-up reach truck experience, is dependable and safety-conscious, and is comfortable using RF scanners, inventory systems, and computer-based tools in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate stand-up reach truck and stand-up forklift equipment.
- Load outbound trailers to ensure secure, accurate, and compliant shipments.
- Unload inbound shipments and place inventory in designated storage locations.
- Pick, stage, and fulfill orders according to shipping schedules.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Use barcode scanners, RF equipment, and warehouse management systems to update inventory records.
- Create shipping documentation and process products using computer systems.
- Verify products, quantities, and storage locations for accuracy.
- Assist with general warehouse material handling and operational support.
- Provide internal customer service and support as needed.
- Inspect equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent stand-up reach truck forklift experience required.
- Previous warehouse shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable using computers, RF scanners, barcode equipment, and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Forklift certification preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Dependable with consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to safely operate stand-up reach truck equipment for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Extended periods operating stand-up reach truck equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling.
- Exposure to warehouse traffic, moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Required use of steel-toe boots and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Must consistently follow established warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
