Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a busy warehouse team in Medina, MN. This position is responsible for order fulfillment, merchandise handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory-related tasks.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately process orders and inventory. Previous reach truck experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, pack, and stage merchandise for outbound shipments according to customer order requirements.
- Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move inventory and stage materials.
- Follow pallet configuration, labeling, and shipping requirements based on customer purchase orders.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products and quantities against packing slips.
- Use warehouse and inventory systems to accurately record shipment data and product movements.
- Unpack, label, and stock inventory using tags, stamps, or electronic tools.
- Monitor outbound staging areas and report shipment discrepancies or concerns.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy.
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or wear before fulfillment.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory locations.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of previous warehouse experience required.
- Previous reach truck experience highly preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed order, packing, and shipping instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order and inventory accuracy.
- Comfortable using basic warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other applicable material handling equipment.
- Dependable with consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to regularly lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive material handling tasks.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Frequent handling, picking, packing, staging, and movement of merchandise.
- Regular use of pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Exposure to typical warehouse noise, equipment, and varying temperatures.
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as applicable.
- Must consistently follow established warehouse and safety procedures.
