PTO: (Paid Time Off)

Employees accrue PTO at a rate of one hour of PTO per every 30 hours worked.  Employees can accrue up to 48 hours of PTO per calendar year.  Employees may carry over up to 80 hours of accrued and unused PTO from year to year. Employees will begin accruing PTO on their first day of work.  However, employees will not be permitted to use PTO until they have completed eight (8) weeks of service with The Vision Companies.

Paid Holidays:

All employees of The Vision Companies are eligible for up to six (6) paid holidays during each calendar year. New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Health Insurance:

  • Medical Benefit – Flat amount for a covered event caused by an accident or illness before annual maximums
  • Dental Benefit – Maximum annual benefit of $750 and covers a wide range of procedures
  • Vision Benefit – Coverage for exams, eyeglasses (frames and lenses), and contact lenses
  • Plus Term-life Insurance and Short-term Disability Benefits

401(K):

Vision Employees are eligible to participate in our 4O1(k) retirement plan. Certain eligibility requirements apply: Employees must be 21 years of age and have been employed for at least a year. There is no employer-match, but there are many investment options for both pre-tax or after-tax contributions.

Software Training:

The Vision Companies offers tutorials for employees who wish to refresh their skills or learn a new software application for a future assignment. Time on our computers is free of charge and we accommodate your work schedule whenever possible. Please call ahead to schedule.
