Tonight my little Henry reminded me of a song from another decade (noted above) which also brought me back to a song many sang as a child, “This little light of mine”. There are a LOT of things that will and do tamper our light, but I am not one of them. I will be continuing to fill your inbox with light of the world around you and sharing with you the light others have brought to us. Again, here are just a few:
- We visited a customer last week, while waiting chatted with the gal that was working near the front. As it turns out, she was hired on from Vision in 2012! SO FUN!
- We emailed a customer and shared with them how excited we were to be able to get them good people, he replied: “you always do”
- Feedback from a candidate we worked with recently: “They provide good customer service, they work hard to take care of people they work with!” –Yes we do!
- An employee of ours was in her 1st week of her new job and drove home for lunch. On her way back to work her car broke down. Together our team moved quickly and gathered up some gas money, one person drove to the gas station, borrowed a gas can from them and headed off to find said employee on the side of the road. Once we arrived and put gas in her car, and we checked for any other issues (because, obviously the person that goes understands vehicles!). Well it’s a good thing we did, because her gas gauge was broken and she didn’t know it – so that’s why it happened in the first place! #teamwork for the win.
- From a candidate who sent a note in all caps and highlighted: “Thank you! You guys have been more than helpful and definitely the best temp agency I’ve ever gone through. Really appreciate it!”
- We were at a Chamber event/gala this fall and ran into Hillary who we placed at a client a number of years ago. She thought we probably didn’t remember her, but OH YES, we did! Of course! We were thrilled to learn she’s still considering our client her ‘home’ and loves it there. She is challenged every day and feels like she found her 2nd I mean, does it get any brighter?!
