Revisit the Benefits

Benefits in any job go beyond your medical insurance coverage and PTO. What other benefits do you have from working in this job? Are you able to have a short commute? Do you like the people you work with? Is the result of the work rewarding, even if you don’t love the day-to-day tasks? Think about the reasons this job nurtures you and focus on those.

Reflect on Why You Started

Do you remember your excitement when you took this job? It was new, and the adventure was beginning. Maybe you were learning something new. When you think about the reasons you started, use that memory of your enthusiasm to keep you engaged in what you’re doing now.

Find Joy in the Small Things

Finding things you love in the big picture might be challenging, but what about looking a little smaller? Are there aspects of your job you like?
