12 Days of Christmas Stories: Day 3

Day 3: Success

Success is defined differently by everyone and in different seasons of life.  Often we find our success in supporting the candidates who achieve progress towards their goal, I’m excited to share just a few from the year…

  • Conor was a great interview, very intelligent and curious person. From the moment we met him he was open minded, interested in learning, and wanting to grow. He was thoughtful, intentional and positive – and of course professional. We hit it off right away and although he was seeking a very competitive opportunity, we had confidence that he would shine. After interviewing, he landed the offer and is so happy. We continue to connect with him and he wants feedback to see how he’s doing but also, we regularly here how he goes above and beyond and others within the organization are asking for him to work on their projects bc he’s such a great human!
  • Amanda worked her way through different office jobs and had decided to better her future by going to school for a specific area of focus. She shared with us that she struggled to keep a job because she was a single mom trying to balance it all within the confines of an 8-5, which is no small feat. She interviewed, despite the pattern and minor convictions on her record, and was offered a position. She’s thriving, she has a team that feels like family and the work/life choice that gives her space to be flexible in both buckets of life!
  • Jim was referred to us by his brother, he has such a great heart, cares so much about others and always follows through – he’s wonderful to work with. When he struggled to get a loan for a house because he was an agency employee we worked with him to help secure the loan. Ultimately he moved on because of the leadership within the organization and when the leadership changed, they called for him to come back!
  • We met with Erin and struggled to get him to talk with us, he had a spotty work history and had been out of the job market for a few years caring for family. It’s encouraging to share he found a great opportunity he calls home and continues to be super reliable, communicates well, and shines bright.
  • Val worked for us 12 years ago and struggled a bit with punctuality and found his way back! I was so thrilled to see his name and know that he’s getting hired on because he’s a gem!
  • Dan was leery when we started working together because of his background but we heard him out, he was honest and transparent and we were a constant advocate for him – he’s thriving and we love to see him when we visit the client.
  • Braeden worked for us for 2 years, patiently waiting for a 1st shift to open up as a perm employee – it did this year, and he landed the spot. So happy for him!

See you tomorrow,

Heather
